Dilya Schauer, was recently commissioned to paint a portrait of world famous, multi-grammy award winning performing artist Jose Feliciano. The commissioned piece was presented to him at the start of his much anticipated performance at the VIVA! Lehigh Acres Latin Music Fest, on Saturday, April 24, 2010.

Close to 12,000 people witnessed as Dilya Schauer, stood alongside VIVA! event director Bob Encarnacion, during the presentation ceremony when the portrait was presented to Jose Feliciano, in appreciation for all he has done for the Latin Community and for contributing so much to Latin music. 

Jose Feliciano was also presented with a Proclamation of Dedication from the Lee County Board of Commissioners in appreciation for his dedication to the Lehigh Acres and the Southwest Florida Community.

The community was in agreement by their obvious support of the presentation applauding and chanting "Jose, Jose, Jose...". Soon after the presentation Jose took the stage and performed many of his hits, like; "Sera" "Light My Fire" "Me haces falta" and many more.

History was also made when world famous International Salsa Orchestra Puerto Rican Power took the stage to perform alongside Jose Feliciano. They have since collaborated with a major hit!

Dilya Schauer
